Please note we have no bedrooms on ground level. All bedrooms are located on the first and second levels and are reached by stairs.

The Victorian dining room provides you with a comfortable setting, with individual tables for breakfast. The room rate includes a full traditional Scottish cooked breakfast. Continental and vegetarian options are also available.

Events in Edinburgh in Spring 2008 include: The Beltane Fire Festival (30 April); the World 7s Rugby Championships (31 May - 1 June); and the Edinburgh International Film Festival (18 - 19 June).

By Bus:
From the Airport:
The Airlink bus leaves directly from outside the terminal building and the journey to the city centre takes approximately 25 minutes. Get off the bus mid way along Princes Street (you will see the Castle to your right). Catch the bus to Kingsway as below.
To Kingsway Guest House (from the shop side of Princes Street):
Take any of the following buses to Kingsway - 3, 7, 8, 29, 31, 37 or 49.
The bus will turn right at the end of Princes Street and travel up 'The Bridges' - we are just a mile straight up this road. The road name changes many times, at Minto Street, get off the bus as you see The Minto on your left - East Mayfield is the next road on the left at the traffic lights.
By Train:
Leave Waverley train station and walk to the shop side of Princes Street. Catch the bus to Kingsway as above.
If you prefer, there are also taxi ranks outside both the airport and Waverley train station.

Payment Information:
Please note there is a 3% charge added if paying by credit card, and a 50 pence charge for payment by debit card. The guest house does not accept cheques. Payment is requested upon arrival.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.
Internet: Wireless internet is available in the Kingsway House Guest rooms and is free of charge.
Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.
