If you are travelling from the north (Oberhausen), drive along the A3 motorway in the direction of Cologne. If you are travelling from north (Dortmund), drive along the A40 motorway in the direction of Essen and Bochum. Change onto the A52 motorway for Düsseldorf. Continue until you reach the turn-off for Düsseldorf-Rath. Continue straight ahead onto route B1/Nördlicher Zubringer (Northern access road). Keep to the right and continue towards Mönchengladbach (A 52 motorway), Neuss, Düsseldorf-Hafen. Drive past the Daimler headquarters and turn left into Rather Straße after 800 metres. After 50 metres, turn right into the Derendorfer Allee.
If you are travelling from the south (Cologne/Aachen), change onto the A57 motorway for Düsseldorf. Change onto the A52 motorway for Düsseldorf at the Kaarst junction. Cross the Theodor Heuss bridge and continue straight through the tunnel. After about 350 metres, turn right into the Ulmenstraße. At the 1st opportunity, turn left into the Rheinmetall Allee.
