Pembroke Townhouse is ideally situated for sightseeing and shopping in Dublin City and is close to many fine restaurants in the Ballsbridge area. Pembroke Townhouse reflects an informal elegance that embodies the best of traditional hospitality. Impeccably restored, the hotel is a superb example of classic 18th century Georgian elegance. .
Food & beverage
Breakfast is served between 7am and 10am every morning in our bright and welcoming dining room. From mid November, a light snack menu is available and includes Home-made soups and freshly cut sandwiches, gourmet coffees and special little treats. For a treat, why not try something hot from the kitchen like a Traditional Breakfast, an omelet with your choice of filling or maybe Sauteed Lambs Liver with onion and bacon. There is a full buffet, with freshly baked fruit scones and brown bread, a selection of juices, cereal and yogurt. .
Travel information
Located on Pembroke Road in Ballsbridge, we are within walking distance of all the city's major attractions.
Trinity College and St Stephens Green are 15 minutes walk. Grafton Street, Dublins' most famous shopping street ajoins both.
The British and American Embassies, but to name a few, are located in Ballsbridge. The Royal Dublin Society (RDS), which hosts international trade fairs and the Dublin Horse Show annually in August is about five minutes walk. Also located in the area is Lansdowne Road Stadium, hosting International Soccer and Rugby games.
For public transport, there is a good bus service in the area, there are roughly about five different schedules for the area. For rail connections, Lansdowne Road DART Station is approximately seven minutes by foot, offering rail connections to the city and further into the countryside.
Dublin Airport is about 12km to the north and may be accessed by public transport (bus from city centre or the Aircoach from Ballsbridge) or private taxi.
