Its tranquil setting on the edge of a forest enables direct access to the broad, complex network of cycle and hiking paths. The ski resort lies just a few metres from the hotel. From the north:
- Take the A7 Hamburg-Hannover, A2 Bielefeld, A33 Paderborn, exit at Wünnenberg, then Brilon, Olsberg, Winterberg
From the south:
- Take the A5 Frankfurt-Gießen, at the Gambach junction head towards "Gießener Südkreuz", take the A485 towards Marburg, then towards Allendorf, in Münchhausen turn left towards Winterberg
From the west:
- Take the A44 Dortmund-Kassel, exit at Werl: A46 Arnsberg, Meschede, Bestwig, Olsberg, Winterberg
From the east:
- Take the A44 Kassel-Dortmund, exit at Zierenberg, B251 Korbach, Medebach, Winterberg

- Follow the signposts for "Hotels am Schneil"
